Activities: quilt retreat 09

Our second annual Quilt Retreat will be held at Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center, Lake Tahoe, on May 4-8, 2009.

The theme for this year's camp is "Independence at the Lake" and will include an optional block exchange. If you'd like to participate, bring a star block to camp in red, cream, and blue, in any multiple of 3" square (i.e.: 6", 9", 12", 15" etc).

Cost for the week — from Monday at 3 pm to Friday at 11 am — will be $275 for FQG members, $280 for non-member guests.

Sign-up today with a $100 deposit and completed application form. The remaining balance is due in April. FQG members get priority. Starting January 17, we'll start accepting deposits from non-members. First-come, first-served.

The week includes hotel-like rooms with private baths, three meals per day, a large sewing room (Dobbins Hall) for all of us to sew in, prizes, beautiful Lake Tahoe to enjoy, shopping opportunities, and great camaraderie. Ask anybody who went last year!
